AgilityEco was initially selected by Oxford City Council (OCC) to launch a rapid energy efficiency programme with the aim of improving its existing housing stock with a variety of energy saving measures, reducing fuel poverty and providing warmer homes.
In addition to support and advice on the different funding opportunities available for this project, OCC required an initial feasibility study, a complete property assessment to identify potential ECO and GDHIF funding prospects across its stock, technical and procurement support as well as tender and contract support.
Using a wealth of energy-sector technical and commercial expertise, AgilityEco was able to help OCC unlock multiple funding opportunities. Beginning with a specification and survey exercise for external wall insulation (and later, cavity wall and loft insulation), AgilityEco looked at various funding streams and combined these with GDHIF and ECO to optimise the financial support for these particular energy saving measures. The total finance achieved for OCC approached £150,000.
AgilityEco provided a full end-to-end service for external wall insulation from initial consultation and advice, right through to surveying, procurement support, tender design and execution and ECO funding compliance. AgilityEco applied a methodical and rigorous approach to each of these steps maximising the energy reduction improvements they could deliver.
AgilityEco project managed the following:
OCC was very satisfied with the added value and with the level of funding for the EWI measures achieved.
Oxford City Council worked closely with AgilityEco for the duration of the projects and we have been impressed by their knowledge of the complex funding landscape and the depth of their technical and commercial advice. Their broad network of partners, sources of expertise and proactivity have been invaluable.
