The Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP) has been there for thousands of families who face the tough choice between heating their homes and meeting their basic needs. This past year, LEAP has solidified its position as a market leader in delivering essential energy and financial support.
Key Highlights from the 2023-24 Impact Report:
£52 Million in Bill Savings: LEAP facilitated significant savings for households, amounting to an estimated £52 million in lifetime energy bill reductions and new income.
Widespread Reach: The organisation now proudly provides in-home services to 70% of the UK population across 211 local authorities, ensuring assistance reaches those most in need.
Support Measures Delivered:
- 4,468 fuel vouchers provided to vulnerable households.
- Over 7,200 essential appliances supplied, including kitchen appliances and emergency boiler replacements.
- 95,875 small measures installed to enhance home energy efficiency.
Personalised Assistance and Accessibility: LEAP energy advisors completed 17,539 home visits and 28,482 telephone advice sessions offering tailored energy-saving guidance. A further 4,300 advice sessions were delivered by specialist income, benefits and debt advisors.
Sustainable Solutions: Implemented solar PV and battery systems in 33 homes to foster long-term energy solutions.
