Connected for Warmth wins Insulation and Fabric Project of the Year
4 October 2023
The Connected for Warmth programme was named as the Insulation and Fabric Project of the Year at the 2023 National Energy Efficiency Awards on Friday 29th September.
This award recognises the efforts of fully qualified insulation or building fabric contractors that provide excellent customer service, and demonstrate a high standard of quality workmanship or best practice.
The scheme is delivered by energy experts AgilityEco and Affordable Warmth Solutions, with funding from National Grid. It offers fully funded loft and cavity wall insulation and other energy efficiency measures to homes in Council Tax bands A-D.
Connected for Warmth beat off stiff competition from 11 other projects, with the judging panel recognising the progress made with over 4,000 measures installed since the start of the year, and thousands more in progress.
The Judges’ noted that the partners delivering Connected for Warmth “provide much needed support for their vulnerable customers, guiding them along the journey, ensuring that the appropriate measures are professionally installed."
“And with over 4,000 measures installed to date it is "a demonstration that AgilityEco and Affordable Warmth Solutions really understand their customers."
Full details of the Connected for Warmth scheme are available, including a case study of how the programme has helped Kat from Hampshire.
