AgilityEco strengthens commitment to eliminating fuel poverty and achieving GB net zero targets with acquisition of Aran

We are delighted to share the news that AgilityEco has today completed the acquisition of Aran Group, a highly respected contractor and provider of managed retrofit programmes.
 
Aran were incorporated in 2012 and have an excellent reputation for high-quality retrofit projects with local authority and social housing clients.  Together with Aran, we plan to continue to increase our impact in this sector and scale our operations to upgrade over 28k homes in 2026. 

This acquisition is in line with our strategy to strengthen our turnkey retrofit offering and build upon the success we have achieved in local authority-led retrofit projects. It will help ensure that we continue to provide the best possible support to you, with a comprehensive framework to deliver energy-efficiency solutions, from advice to retrofit work.  

This will be strengthened by Aran’s installation capacity, deep technical expertise and Social Housing experience, broadening our capabilities, whilst creating additional opportunities for our longstanding supply chain to access funded schemes. Alongside the acquisition, we are investing in an upgraded, technology-enabled platform so we can continuously raise the bar in retrofit services for our clients.  

As part of the acquisition, 62 people will be joining AgilityEco.  They will continue to operate under the Aran brand in the immediate future, with eventual integration with the AgilityEco brand.  AgilityEco will continue to deliver services through their carefully chosen national network of trusted and experienced energy efficiency partners as well.
