FAQs
The Warm Homes: Local Grant is part of the Government's Warm Homes Plan, aiming to improve energy efficiency of 5 million homes, reduce fuel poverty, and support Net Zero 2050 goals in England and Wales. With £500 million in funding, the programme will launch in April 2025 and is expected to run for three to five years.
The support will be aimed at low-income private homeowners and landlords who have low-income tenants. The grant is specifically for properties located in England with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D to G. Unlike the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG), this programme is open to all fuel types.
